Does anyone know when Hugh Beaumont died? Why Larry Mondello left the series? Also, I know that Jerry Mathers was in the USAF, but does anyone know if other members of the cast served in the military and/or Vietnam?

I can answer two of your questions. I'm not sure about the 3rd question though.

1)When did Hugh Beaumont die? I think he died in 1982.

2)Why did Larry Mondello leave the series? The actor (Rusty Stevens) family moved to New Jersey, and took Rusty with them. I think they moved to Jersey, but moving was why Rusty left the series.

3)Of all the things I've read, I think Jerry was the only one that joined the armed forces. I'm not sure about this answer though....
