Just like on Three's company when the episodes seemed to be cut in half betweem apartments, it's the same on the Ropers.

The episode will start with Helen and Stanley in their place and then it would shift to the Brooks apartment showing Ann and Jeffery and then back to the Ropers.


Just like how on Three's Company when it would start with the Trio and then shift to the Ropers or Vice Versa. I don't think any other spinoff was set up like that now that I think about it.
