I just bought a brand new walkman radio/cassete player from e-bay. I didn't know they still made those:) :)
I always thought they stopped making them when I-pods came out.
That's good to know they're still being made.

I think I read somewhere that they stopped production of them last Fall, and are just selling what they have left.

Up until a couple of years ago, a few of Walgreens in my area still sold walkman and cassestte players at very low prices.

Sony announced sometime last year that they have discontinued the walkman.
You can still buy blank cassesstes, but I mostly see them at places like Walgreens. Also there is crutchfield that sells stereo equiment, and they actually have home cassette decks for sale. Also you can occasionally find a cassette deck at Goodwill and the Salvation Army.
i got my walkman when i was 14 years old,you take me to my childhood when i was crying, and shouting at my father to bring me a walk man:) :)
