so i am watching Sea. 1 of "Soap" on Netflix streaming...& just found a scene not on the dvd's....when Jessica is talking about Mr. Rollo(in ep 16), the clown who died at her birthday party, she starts talking about a rabbit who died as well but the dvd set cuts to Burt walking in the kitchen....i knew it didn't sound familiar after all the dvd viewings i've done...LOL surprising it's cut on the dvd set...& now i found one on ep 17 when Jess is having her mug shot taken she's says their family photographer should take her pic...also cut on the dvd set...& when Danny meets Mr. Lefkowitz he gets on the phone & tells someone to "kill him"...total of about 2 mins on each episode!???!!!

Is that just on netflix streaming or on the dvds? LOL I didn't see the original run so I have no idea as to whether or not anything is cut out.

I had heard that some dialogue is missing on the DVDs. If you are streaming the show, chances are the episodes are intact. They are complete on the Columbia House VHS, which I transferred to DVD, instead of buying the season sets.
I thought something had been cut from the DVD set, in regards to Jessica having her mug shot taken. The Comedy Central airings, I believe, had that in tact.

sea 4 on netflix has all the beginning 'on the last episode of soap' intro's that r missing from the DVD's....
Having just rewatched the show on DVD, I missed those "In-the-last-episode-of-Soap" intros. Why would they have left them off? I also didn't like how the mini episode guide for season four, that comes with the DVD, left off who's in the episodes and such.

Maybe the new Mill Creek DVD's will have all the cut stuff cuz the running times shown on Amazon are longer than the Sony DVD's....

It's nothing that takes away from the show and I'm not as concerned since the network cheated the fans out of a final ending for the show. It still drives me crazy.
