Woman Arrested after Brawl Over Girl Scout Cookies

10:53 a.m. EST, February 22, 2011
NAPLES, Fla. (KTLA) -- A woman in Naples, Florida is behind bars for allegedly beating up her roommate in a dispute over Girl Scout cookies.
Hersha Howard, 31, has been charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.
Police say she busted into Jasmin Wanke's room while she was sleeping, and accused Wanke of eating her Thin Mints.
Howard allegedly jumped on Wanke and hit her in the face.
Wanke's husband separated the two women, but after he left the room, Howard allegedly chased Wanke downstairs with a pair of scissors and bit her in the breast.
The two women made their way outside, where Howard allegedly hit Wanke with a sign.
Wanke's husband tackled Howard and subdued her until deputies arrived.

Well those Girl Scout Cookies are pretty expensive. :lol: I bought a box from a lady at work & they were $7 for 15 cookies but I sure wouldn't attack anyone over them. :lol:

She overcharged you, I bought 2 boxes of thin mints last week for $3.50 each.
^ Thanks for the info, I got the Tagalongs. I wonder if they are the same price as the Thin Mints? I'll have to ask her about it.

Janice 02-23-2011, 08:56 PM I don't even like Girl Scout Cookies. They taste dry and cheaply made. I buy them for the kids and then give them away, or I just give the Scout the money and don't even take the cookies. Pepperidge Farm or Keebler, they are not.

WOW, you were definitely over-charged! I bought a box of Tagalongs for 3 bucks, not too long ago!
I love thin mint cookies! They should join in a street fight and whoever wins get a box of thin mint cookies! :lol:
