Carmelo Anthony just got officially traded to the Knicks. Here is the problem though, it seems only the big market teams can succeed and are grabbing all the mega stars. How do you expect the smaller market teams to survive?!?

Two words: Salary Cap
I wouldn't be 100% shocked to see a couple of the smaller NBA teams fold.

And I won't be surprised that The Cavs would be on the Chopping-Block!
There should be an NBA2 for the smaller markets and a few teams in there as well....

Isn't the NBA headed for a possible lockout or some labour disruption like the NFL?

Melo had already refused a contract extension so they were going to lose him anyway. At least this way they got something for him. If he left at the end of the season as a free agent they would have got nothing.
