I know that Boner left the show because he joined the Marines, but what was the real reason for the late Andrew Koenig to leave the show? Was he unhappy with the show or cast memebers? Or was he just tired of playing Boner?

I have watched the Growing Pains True Hollywood Story but nothing much was said about it.

I think he couldn't handle the pressures that come with being an actor in a very popular show.
