Sorry to hear this. I really liked him as Uncle Leo and he will be missed. I'm going to check his IMDB page and see if I can find his other appearances in different shows.

:rip: I LOVED Uncle Leo. Len Lasser was just perfect in the role!! He also made a very funny guest spot on The Bob Newhart Show back in the 1970s. He didn't have the mustache, but I recognized him right away. Thanks for the laughs and memories!!!

This is from my favorite Uncle Leo appearance. Jerry turns in Uncle Leo for stealing a book.

It's hard to believe that Uncle Leo was only in 15 episodes - but he made the most of each appearance!!! :D

He certainly did! It's a tribute to his skill as an actor that he was able to create such a memorable character in so few appearances!

It's a credit to Jerry Seinfeld and Larry David that they created so many wonderful, memorable MINOR characters. They didn't take away anything from the core four, but just enhanced everything. I mean, you had Uncle Leo, Mickey, J. Peterman, Mr. Pitt, Jerry's parents, George's parents, Kramer's mom, and of course, Newman (to name just a few!). :D
