At the Hollywood Collector's Show over the weekend. I had a blast Pat is so nice. I let her know I was upset at the studio for not having her be in Munster Go Home. Butch was pretty cool too I bought a Herman Munster T from the Universal walk store and wore it to the show it was very popular. Another fan congratulated Butch on his marriage, Butch told him they are not together anymore and never married. I also met a lady who wrote his bio with him and she didn't have anything kind to say about him she was selling his books trying to get rid of them. She said it was either sell them or throw them away. I had a great time.

That's cool.

I met Butch Patrick at one of the cons around here over 10 years ago, I think it was around 1996-1997.

When I got his auto. I remember asking him why he wrote "Good Toes" and he said, "Just because... I don't know, it's funny."

The author of Butch Patrick's book is Helen Darras. She use to be Butch's girlfriend even though she was/is married to a prominent transplant surgeon. She went to the Hollywood show with Jeff Conaway to sell her books. Jeff and Butch got into a huge shouting match because Butch and Helen didn't end on good terms because Butch dumped Helen for Donna. Helen even reported that Butch or one of his friends slashed her tires at the show.

BTW, Butch and his reps planted the story about him being engaged/married for publicity. His girlfriend was upset with this and didn't know it was planted by Butch and his reps until after she kicked him out. She kicked him to the curb when she suspected cocaine use, something she told him she would do if she ever suspected. That is why they are not together. There were too many lies and too many publicity stunts.

I remember seeing Jeff Conway and he didn't look well at all and he was in a wheelchair.

The fight between the 2 of them at the show was hillarious, and sad at the same time. It was broken up by Pat Priest. Helen Darras has not been shy in showing her dislike for little Eddie Munster and apparently Jeff Conaway was in agreement with Darras.

I don't get it. The guy was once against the Munsters reboot and now he's for it to get a part of the action. He told fans he wasn't going to be signing any Eddie Munsters related stuff anymore and had a "going out of business sale" in 2011 saying he wasn't going to be Eddie Munster anymore and wasn't going to be signing anything Eddie munster related going forward.
(so get your merchandise now before it's gone, forever)

Yet he continues to be at autograph shows raking in the cash as Eddie Munster and benefiting from a 2 year stint, almost half a century ago, and fooling the fans that he has left.
