The two part episode of 8 Simple Rules regarding his death still gets me to this day. I can vividly remember the entire episode and its so sad.

The Wonder Years episode that always stuck out to me was when Kevin's math teacher Mr. Collins passed away.

MASH's final episode.

Happy Days episode when Richie leaves.

I'm sure there's a lot of sad TV moments but I can't think of them right now.

I had forgotten about All in the Family, Barney Miller, Family Ties and The Wonder Years. thanks for the reminders. I'm probably going to have to do 3 or 4 parts to this. As for The Waltons and WWE Raw, I really hadn't watched those so I would have no idea where to place those in a count down.

That's right. "Damn, damn, DAMN!" That's definitely up there. The other though I was trying to just stick to TV shows, but those would probably be good to add in there.

I want to add Laura's funeral on Knots Landing. (yes, she was a character on a soap that really died and STAYED dead, a true rarity). That was a real tear jerker. :(

Hey, welcome to the site! You may know me from commercialsihate.com...

But for sad shows...all I can think of was when Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon, Disney Channel, etc. decided to sell-out to the masses rather than keep their identity!

Hello Mr. Cleveland, yes, I do recognise you from commercialsihate.com. :D

In 1981, when I was living in Michigan, when a Rumor went around that the Cable TV Company was going to carry the Playboy Channel, someone had a Petition Drive to have the Disney Channel added. Playboy wasn't added, but Disney was. Foe the next Decade or so, this was one of my Favorate Channels, but then it as you said "Sold Out to the Masses", and the Wonderful Vintage Disney programming Vanished. :(

Dallas- Bobby's death. That was heartbreaking! But he did show up in the shower the next season thank goodness!

The Wonder Years- Winnie and Kevin's breakup especially when Kevin seeks out his dad in the garage and receives a very compassionate hug from the usually grumpy Jack Arnold. That made me cry.
