I'd buy it in a heartbeat. This was groundbreaking tv. It needs to be released at some point.

I would like to see Julia on DVD also, but the fan base for the show has become very small, I think most studios would be reluctant to put this out. Maybe doing this as a manufacture on demand product could be an option. Part of the problem is Julia hasn't been syndicated on TV for years, the last time I saw it was in the mid 70's 1974 or 75. Out of sight, out of mind is the main problem here. The show needs to air in syndication again to rekindle some interest, causing more people to request DVD's increasing the chances it may get released.

You're right on..I hope MeTv would do so because 20th Century Tv was the production company..We can dream can we:)

Yeah. Nothing wrong with dreaming. I would love to get this show on DVD. I caught what ever episodes I could on NAN's black history friday lineup in 2001 and from TV Land in 2003 when they honored Ms. Carroll for the groundnbreaking achievment award.

I didn't like this show when it was aired on TV. I wouldn't even call it a sitcom, this show was more of a drama like Ally Mcbeal.

manufacture on demand product are usually DVD R they basically dodgy and have problem especial in the mail. The manufactured DVD sets, some time come with marks and weird grooves on it, but mostly play.

Julia is similar to Family Affair, both shows have light comedy with a little drama mixed in. I would like to see Julia released on DVD someday, but I'm not holding my breath waiting for it.

I love Julia! This show was superb! And Diahanne Carroll is such a talented actress. I really hope the show comes out on DVD. Or at least gets some airtime on Me-TV or Antenna TV.
