I don't recall any episodes when Mother Jefferson and Weezy would quarrel in front of Florence.

There were never any such scenes. Most of Mother Jefferson's put-downs of Louise were in the first two seasons, when Florence only had a couple of appearances. Florence became more recurring during the third season, probably to take the place of Mother Jefferson. This was when Zara Cully was still in the lineup but was ill and was only in a couple of shows.
