What other things did Donna Reed,Carl Betz,Shelley Fabares,Paul Petersen and his sister Patty do when "The Donna Reed Show"ended? 1)Besides "The Donna Reed Show",Carl Betz played(and won an Emmy for)Attorney Clinton Judd in ABC's courtroom drama "Judd For the Defense",and besides that, what other shows(comedies and dramas)did he guest star in before his death? 2)How about the late Donna Reed?We all know that she played the second Mrs.Ewing on "Dallas".But was she featured on any OTHER comedies or dramas? 3)And how about Shelley Fabares?Besides her roles as the super-snooty Francine Webster(Mary was never that snooty)on "One Day at a Time",and Christine Armstrong who later married Coach Hayden Fox on "Coach",what else did she guest star in? 4)And finally,Paul Petersen. What other shows did he co-star in?

Shelly Fabares was in the 1971 TV movie "Brian's Song" playing Joy Piccolo, the wife of Brian Piccolo (who was played by James Caan).

Shelley played Brian Keith's daughter on 'The Brian Keith Show' for two seasons.

I vaguely remember Paul guest starring on 'The Big Valley'. The episode had something to do with Victroia, Audra and stagecoach robbers.

Carl did an episode of 'Love, American Style' with a young Harrison Ford.

I've always wanted to see 'Judd, for the Defense'.

Paul Petersen did some singing for a while and was even on Motown (of all places). He cut the original version of "Chained" in 1967 (before Marvin Gaye had a hit with it), and the next year did a tune for Motown called "A Little Bit For Sandy", that was a hit in Australia.

And,Paul Petersen in September 1966 until the series end in 1967,was the new host of ABC's 1966-1967 series "Dream Girl of '67",replacing Dick Stewart as host.

Shelley Fabares also guested on Daniel Boone. Singer John Davidson played her love interest.

I've seen that Daniel Boone episode -- Shelley looked beautiful!

Carl Betz went on to perform in episodes of the Quinn Martin shows -- either Cannon or Streets of San Francisco or both, I can't remember. And he played a bad guy on at least one occasion!

Paul Petersen on My Three Sons: When Steve honeymoons with Barbara in Mexico, Paul plays one of the other new (younger) husbands (1969).

And remember "The Practice"?No,not the ABC courtroom drama, but the NBC comedy series of the 1970's that starred the late Danny Thomas as Dr.Jules Bedford and co-starred Shelley Fabares as his daughter-in-law.

Shelly Fabraes played the sister-in-law of Danny Thomases character on a short lived sitcom on NBC in the 70s (I forget the name of it) where Danny Thomas played a doctor.
She also played herself in one or two scenes in a TV movie about Annette Funicello in 1993 or 94.

And the late Carl Betz starred in an episode of 1973-1974's very short-lived (it was cancelled at midseason)"The New Perry Mason"reboot episode "The Case of the Spurious Spouse"and was one of the few actors who also co-starred in an episode of the classic ORIGINAL "Perry Mason".Did he do any other comedies besides "Love,American Style" in the 1970's?

I vaguely remember Paul guest starring on 'The Big Valley'. The episode had something to do with Victroia, Audra and stagecoach robbers.

Paul played a newly-enlisted soldier in that episode -- Audra had witnessed a multiple murder, and the experience left her so shocked that she couldn't speak and was in sort of a stupor. While riding on the stage with Victoria, men behind the murders were out to kill Audra and were following. Paul's character defends, calling Audra the most beautiful thing he'd seen.

Paul also guested on The Flying Nun as a rock musician.

I saw the Annette Funicello movie. It originally aired on Oct. 22, 1995, which a TV Guide Closeup pointed out was Annette's 53rd birthday. Shelley Fabares and Dick Clark played themselves in a scene or two, and then in the last scene, reenacting Annette's daughter's wedding, Annette, her children, her parents, her ex-husband and her current husband all played themselves.

Shelley was hilarious on One Day At A Time. Her and Bonnie Franklin played off each other well even though Francine was one I could not stand. I had a crush on Shelley Fabares and she is a beautiful actress.

Looks like Shelley retired from acting. I did like how she and Carl Betz teamed up one last time in that Elvis movie.

I've seen Shelley's work on Love, American Style and she was smokin' hot! OMG!! Wow.

I'm pretty certain I've seen Paul Petersen in one of the color Lassie episodes.

I've now seen Carl Betz on both The Streets of San Francisco and Cannon. It did seem like he usually played a bad guy -- in fact, a murderer on Cannon...!

I also saw Carl on Marcus Welby, MD. He played a doctor having trouble with his bedside manner. Good acting for sure, of course though he had experience playing an MD...!

So sad that Carl passed on at a young age.

One of Donna Reed's last roles was a made for television slasher movie called Deadly Lessons. It's pretty obscure now and very tame, but it was definitely made to capitalize on the booming success of the subgenre after Halloween and Friday the 13th.

I think it was one of the only horror thrillers she ever did.

yea, and Annette played herself in one scene at the beginning and then again in that scene at the end where they re-enacted her daughters wedding. (the movie was a biography of her and the last half told of her battle with MS)

I think Frankie Avalon also played himself.
