Since the show is only renewed for one more season (2011/2012) would next season be the right time to end 'Family Guy?' or should Seth Macfarlane decide the right time to end his show?

If "The Simpsons" end in the year 2012...then "Family Guy" should end too...or go on for 20 more years! (McFarlane is probably going to do that anyhow....)

Though I have enjoyed this season of FG much more than the past several, I think it's time to call it quits. Most of the major plots (abuse of Meg, Brian's love for Lois, Brian's desire to write a book, Stewie's death wish for Lois, the Evil Monkey, the Brian/Stewie relationship and others) have pretty much been resolved now, and they really run the risk of repeating themselves. Plus the show shows a tendency toward shock value for its own sake anymore, and for me that's a sign that it's time to end the show.
