...doesn't give them the right to try to revive them in "new packaging". Have they forgotten what they did to "KNIGHT RIDER" and "THE BIONIC WOMAN"? I believe they should call a moratorium on trying to update old shows, and concentrate on nurturing new ones...because that's the sensible thing to do.

But then again, "sensible" isn't a word most associated with network television these days...."profit", "pillaging" and "imitation" are.

They already did a remake of The Munsters! The Munsters Today ran from 1987-91, starring John Schuck and Lee Meriweather.

...and there was a "MUNSTERS" holiday TV movie [on Fox] about 15 or 16 years ago with a completely different cast, 'markway'....yeah, "Scary Little Christmas", like the DVD box above says.

As I've stated, there should be a moratorium on reviving "classic TV series", "THE MUNSTERS" included (and NBC has already passed on David E. Kelley's proposed update of "WONDER WOMAN", so that's a step in the right direction!).

i somehow envision "The New Munsters" being about as good as "The New Monkees" was.

- and in case you hadn't seen it, horrible doesn't even begin to describe how bad it was.
