Remember the Anti-Disco Movement of the late 1970s and early 1980s? We need to bring A SIMULAR MOVEMENT to these kinds of programs! :lol:

I've been tired of all "unscripted" shows ever since they began!!! :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: The only one I ever liked was Ed MacMahon's Star Search - but that show was syndicated and we weren't beaten over the head with it.

"American Idol" is something that I have never looked at, and never plan to. Even Super Bowl XVII (which I saw last night on DVD) was more interesting than that tripe.

i agree with you on american idol. that screeching and howling is like fingernails on a chalkboard. we dont need singers, we need songwriters and people that can pick a good guitar.

those reality talent shows killed the sitcom. i wish i could go back to the 80s, 90s and 70s, the latter decade of which i wasn't born in yet.
