That's totally cool!! I haven't watched that show since it's original airings, many years ago. I used to watch that show all the time and I will again on Feb. 26th.

So the marathon is the first season. All four "Golden Girls" appeared, with Blanche and Dorothy having major roles:

I don't get it.I think it would be a good fit for Hallmark,at least after "The Golden Girls"morning block,and it would sure beat watching "The Martha Stewart Show(they air too much of her show anyway on Hallmark).

Yea the third one was Emily. She was on the cast brieftly during one of the later seasons.

I was laying in bed all morning watching this earlier. I remember watching it when I was young during the day. It's not a great show but it does have something charming about it that I enjoy. The best thing I read was the review for it on IMDB, spot on. It was such a different time in TV back then. They don't make shows like these anymore.

I used to watch it every Saturday night. It was a good show. I think it JTS after Kristy McNichol left the show. I didn't enjoy it as much after that. It's great to see it on TV again though. It's been missing for too long.

Why are they calling it a "Premiere Marathon" if it's not going to be on the schedule for March? That's totally dumb, you don't call something a "premiere" unless you plan on airing it regularly after that

They will add it soon, I think, it's just not scheduled yet.

I Hope its added. I've always wanted to see it!

I also hope The Hallmark Channel airs this show on a regular basis,because it IS good,a kind of like "My Three Sons"with daughters,and if not on a regular weekday basis,,maybe one week out of every month they could air the rest of the episodes on the weekends.That way,they would keep it fresh .

I really enjoyed seeing it again. I had never seen any of the first season eps but one or two of them.

I agree, they totally need to add it to the regular schedule. Some shows are aired too much, there is definately room. (3 hours of Cheers every weeknight????) They also seem to air most of the other series for 2 hour blocks, some others 3 as well. I'd settle for 1 Empty Nest a day to at least have it on the air!

IMO Fraiser seems a bad fit for Hallmark

I sent Marsha Warfield (Maxine) congrats on the show coming back to cable via Facebook. Granted, Maxine doesn't come in until the last couple of seasons, but I always loved her character - especially how she always took pot shots at Laverne. :lol: Anyway, Miss Warfield's response? "Thanks, it was nothing!" :lol:
