YouTube suggests that I install Adobe FlashPlayer to look at their videos. I'm having a rough time installing the thing. Too complicated. I wish I could contact YouTube and tell them how I feel.

Too complicated. I wish I could contact YouTube and tell them how I feel. Vince53 02-03-2011, 06:16 PM You're from Pennsylvania? Then I'm here to help. When you try to install flash player, does it tell you why there's a problem? robyrob 02-03-2011, 06:20 PM uninstall the old version download the new version (stand alone version - not the download manager B.S.) http://www.filehippo.com/download_flashplayer_ie/ install restart your computer - sometimes it helps to reinstall Java and delete all of your temp files / browser cache as well. MrCleveland 02-03-2011, 09:36 PM I have a gripe with YouTube also...but that gripe is different.... mets82 06-25-2011, 10:54 PM I keep going on youtube and there is no sound on any of the videos I try to watch. I cant talk to anyone because knowone is there. They keep telling me to add firefox and install Adobe flash player. I did both of those things and I still cant hear any videos. Whats going on? robyrob 06-26-2011, 11:07 AM does the sound work everywhere else? (other sites, other programs?) you don't have to have firefox, but Flash needs to be installed - make sure you have the most current version of whatever browser you are using, uninstall Flash completely, delete all of your temp files and cache, then download the newest Flash version and reinstall it and try the videos again. mets82 06-26-2011, 12:38 PM I've uninstalled flash and installed flash and the videos still have no sound. I could see them but I cant hear them. Also, google is giving me a problem as well. When I do a google search the website i want doesnt come up. Ex., If I type in ESPN.com in a google search and click on espn.com that comes up in the google search, espn.com wont come up. Something entirely different comes up. robyrob 06-26-2011, 01:53 PM I've uninstalled flash and installed flash and the videos still have no sound. I could see them but I cant hear them.
