What's everyone doing on New Years Eve this year? I'm not doing anything - no parties, no visitors - so I'm gonna do exactly the same thing I did last year and get drunk and watch 'Fight Club'! :D
New Years Eve is a big deal in Scotland. For one thing we don't call it 'New Years Eve' - it's called 'Hogmanay' and there are huge street parties and ceilidhs. The Scots really celebrate New Year in style. What are New Year celebrations like in America?

Oh, and a quick weather update - the snow that has been engulfing the North of Scotland has now reached the Central Belt! The road outside my window right now is completely white!! :eek:

I'm not doing anything. I'm just gonna sit at home and I'll probably be online like I am every other night. We're getting snow here too! I hope it piles up. I love snow.

YAY! Now its snowing really hard here! :clap:

I'll be home sitting here on the computer watching all 12 of the adults at my house get drunk on scotch and water. How...unbelievably lovely.

Nothing. I never do anything. New Year's Eve is no big deal to me.

I just wath tv and stuff til midnight.

I'm going to have my bestfriend over and every year we fondue and then were going to watch a couple movies pearl harbor and either meet the parents or legally blond which ever one we can get from the rental store then were going to watch a little bit of the time square new years special. then after we watch the ball drop we will go out side and drive around on the 4-wheeler and shoot off fireworks (we do this every year).

I'm going to have a ball sitting in my room dying from bordem while everyone else gets to party.

I usually just watch the Dick Clark New Years Eve Special or the New Years Eve thing on MTV. My parents order pizza, and their friends will be over, and I will have my best friend over, and at midnight we all get to drink wine. Dat's all.

Today's New Years Eve Eve Eve! LOL.

I'm going to a party.

I wanna babysit like I did last year!!!!!! I made A LOT of money! People put ads in the paper and my mom thought it would be a good idea...blah blah blah....Well, I made like $200!! It was so funny! The kid's parents came home and they were drunk at like 4 am. And the dad goes "Do uh uh you like u uh want a uh uh rde home?" I was like "Ummmmmm no thanks. I'll walk." It was like half a mile and it was cold!!!!!!

Usaully my family and my friends are over and we throw the confetti and have the wine coolers. This year no one is going to be over it's only gonna be me & my mom so I'll probably be here most of the night.

I don't know what I'm going to do yet. I'm determined not to stay at home like I have the past two new years eves.

I am not going to do anything.

since my plans changed, i wont get completely drunk but i will still have my snickers cruncher!!!

I'm going to be here trying to forget the memories of this really bad year and hope next year is better.

Just going to a party. I usually go to first night around 8 with the family, and head over to a party around 10. I've been wanting to get into NYC to see the ball drop in Time square, but nobody ever wants to go with me. :(

I am going up my friend abby's w/ all my x-mas money and we're gonna smoke our 2 pakks of ciggarettes we got for christmas and then we r gonnna by some weed offa her brother and get high in the rafters and probably be too stoned to know that it is almost 12 but hey we r gonna have a fun ass time

I'll probably do the samething I did last
year, buy some wine and get drunk.
