There was mention of the changes in the Dorothy character in the fifth season in another thread, but what about Bea's voice? What happened to it? Seems as if it suddenly got deeper and very raspy by season 6, very sudden. I would think it was due to age, but it sure did seem to come on fast for it to be that.

I'm not entirely sure, I never really heard a change in her voice from season six onward, different-sounding from the first five seasons. Her voice did appear to go "raspier" in the sixth season, but not as much as you may have meant.
If it did go raspier as you had said, it may have been due to Bea's age. But then again, your voice changing tone due to age usually takes awhile and a year (or less) probably wouldn't be much. I still don't know that much about it, more or less due to the fact that I haven't seen season six in over a couple of months, so maybe I'm not the best to answer this.
I hope I didn't confuse you!!

I hope I didn't confuse you!!Yeah, that makes sense to me. It changed so suddenly in season 6; raspier and deeper....I was wondering if she perhaps had an illness that affected her voice or something. It was strange it was so sudden, almost too sudden to be age IMO.
