In your opinion, which moments on UM felt emotionally compelling to you? Here are some that stick out to me:

Gail Delano: near the end of the segment, when her thoughts are narrated in the background as if it were her own voice.

Tracey Kirkpatrick: another background voice, this time she is reciting one of her favorite poems.

Resurrection Mary: her behavior during the segment says it all.

Gordon McAllister: his emotion, he indicated he'd be willing to let the killer come after him just so that he would get caught this time. That is very selfless of him.

What are your favorite emotional moments?

Leonard Dirickson's son saying "my father would never do this to me." Pretty emotional stuff.

Rob Shaffer's account of Angela Hammond's disappearance was pretty chilling.

Gail Delano, as you said.

Many others.

One of the most compelling UM moments occurred in the segment about the missing schoolteacher Oliver Munson, when his co-worker mentioned that former students would always ask about Oliver. It is very sad that he couldn't given them a genuine answer, since he himself doesn't know what had become of his colleague.

Oliver Munson was at the top of my list too.
The update about Christophe Day dying of leukemia and hsi mother not telling his father.
--The Baskin children being kidnapped by their grandparents.
--the anna anton case, because my inlaws don't live far from the area where it happened.

wow, 2 votes for Gale Delano already? I myself can't shed a tear for her after learning what she did.

The video of Matt Flores holding his little girl while his widow talks about how she won't remember him. :(

Yes, Oliver Munson seems like he was the one "cool teacher" that all of us liked when we were in school, which makes it sadder to me.

Did the authorities ever try to get Dennis Watson to confess?

When Kathy Hobbs' mom finishes reading the letter she left for her, folds it up, and says, "And she was a very good friend, as well as being my daughter."

David Stallings' tearful breakdown when talking about the death of his son. I couldn't understand how ANYONE could have thought that family was responsible after seeing that.

The moment in the Tatum Ghost segment when Jim starts to get choked up while talking about the effect this ghost has had on their lives and Kay leans over and hugs him and says "I've never seen you like this before". That pretty much convinced me this couple was NOT perpetuating a deliberate hoax and genuinely believed the hauntings were real.

Don Dixon tearfully describing how he said a prayer after finding Eric Tamiyasu's body... okay, I'm kidding about that one  !
