Peck Picked Up by "One Life"

"As the World Turns" veteran Austin Peck has joined the cast of "One Life to Live", potentially reuniting him with real-life partner Terri Conn (Aubrey), who'd been his romantic co-star on "ATWT", as well.



Peck's role is cloaked in mystery, which may mean that the powers that be aren't sure yet what they want to do with him ... or that there's something big going on.

His first day of filming is Jan. 31, so he won't appear on camera until later in February. Hopefully, he and Terri will get to kick up their chemistry in Llanview.

Call me a cynic, but I wonder if they didn't hire him as sort of a publicity stunt. Let's face it, folks, he's never been a particularly good actor (although I understand his acting improved somewhat on ATWT; my sister was a big DAYS fan when he was on and was rooting 100% for Carrie to dump him and run off with Mike Horton). Let's hope these two don't bring any of their behind the scenes drama to OLTL.

I use to watch DAYS when he was on and I think he's cute. Um...but there were times when he would speak and then get this blank look on his face. :lol:

Probably because he was wondering why Days insisted on having so many awful storylines for him! Trust me, I've gotten blank looks on my face plenty of times while watching Days!:lol:

Sorry, Just had to add that. And Monika, I think you're right about the reason that OLTL hired him. Sadly I think that's the reason that most soaps hire people these days.
