Charlie Sheen is headed to rehab -- but he may not be too happy about it.

The 'Two and a Half Men' star checked into a rehabilitation facility on Friday after being hospitalized following a night of partying with porn stars.

Reaching out to RadarOnline.com, Sheen angrily tried to downplay the incident and his long string of recent partying, saying via text, "People don't seem to get it.... Guy can't have a great time and do his job also? Bunch of Turds." Previously, TMZ reported that Sheen decided to enter the facility on his own, though he wasn't without a lot of help.

Presumably amongst those bunch of turds: father Martin Sheen, who insisted he go to rehab to save his life; and ex-wife Denise Richards, who wanted him to go for the sake of their two children.

Sheen's representatives claim that he checked in due to pain from a hernia, though the AP reports that the 911 call that sent him there insisted that he was both in pain and intoxicated.

I think he's the one who doesn't get it - denial, anyone?

He might as well have said "I can quit anytime I want to." Anyone familiar with substance abuse can see through him pretty easily.

I wish him luck in getting his life back. I'm not his biggest fan, but he has a family and I don't think he's an evil person, just extremely messed up and dangerous, to himself and others.

He has five children - four of them under the age of 10. For their sake, as well as his own, I hope he wakes up and turns his life around.

I don't think this is going to have a happy ending. He better wake up before it's too late.

I was afraid of this. He didn't really go to rehab on his own. As long as that's the case the chances of rehab having any lasting effect on his life are almost nil. This could end up in a very sad ending. For the sake of his family and especially his children I hope things change before it's too late.

It seemed for a time, Charlie had things under control. After his very public humiliation with his father calling out publicly for his arrest (I believe this was around 1998) and having fallen from movie star to public joke, it seemed that once Charlie got into rehab, things turned around.

He got the starring role on Spin City and a couple years later, found the role of a lifetime in Charlie Harper.

It's too bad that Sheen has the tiger by the tail but can't (or won't) recognize it.:(
