More Zombies Coming to Television

In "Awakening", from William Laurin and Glenn Davis, a zombie apocalypse serves as the backdrop for two sisters who go head-to-head.

That's the gist of the CW's potential new series.

The network behind "The Vampire Diaries" and "Supernatural" just picked up the script and Deadline says "Awakening" could possibly be ordered up for a pilot, however, nothing is certain right now.

Sounds interesting with the angle of two sisters being against each other.

Seems like the CW isn't doing well, huh?

I'm shocked it's still alive. Except for The Vampire Diaries and the WB castoffs it's ratings sucks.

One Zombie TV Show to Rule the Air, For Now

It looks like "The Walking Dead" will be your only source for televised zombie fare.

The CW looked at the variety of pilots it had on the slab for the 2011-2012 season and they passed on "Awakening".

The show was going to star Lucy Griffiths, Titus Welliver and Brian Hallisay and told of two sisters who were at odds with one another during a zombie apocalypse.

William Laurin and Glenn Davis created the proposed show.
