TLK currently averages a rating of 0.8 in the most important demographic (Women 18-49), which is less than OLTL's 1.0. TLK gets about 2.2 million viewers all together each episode, whereas OLTL got 2.6 million last week (2.3 the week before -- supposedly, the snowstorms in the northeast are helping the ABC soaps out a lot).

I'm not sure about LMAD's ratings. GH's current 18-49 rating is a 1.4, and I'm sure that's much higher than anything LMAD has in that demo. GH got 2.8 million viewers last wekk, which I would guess beats LMAD as well.

AMC's CBS competition is typically Y&R and B&B:

Total Viewers for Last Week:
1. Y&R - 5.1 million
2. B&B - 3.0 million
3. AMC - 2.7 million

18-49 averages for the season to date (September - January):
1. Y&R - 1.7
2. B&B - 1.0
3. AMC - 0.9

So, for the demographic that the networks care the most about (Women 18-49), all of ABC's soaps are doing better than The Talk.

Well, The Talk (and other non-soap daytime shows...talk shows, game shows, court shows, etc) is much, much cheaper to produce than ATWT was, so it can have less viewers but still make more money than ATWT did.
