Well diane vs rebbeca have been covered,what era did you like better,well you may not have been a diane fan did you like her years better,i personally liked the diane years better,well i do think the sam and diane relationship had used every way they could be, in my opinion the rebbecca years didn,t breath any new air at all,the story lines were recycled,they could not think off any fresh ideas,well there were some good shows in the later seasons,the storys weren,t as good as the earlier ones the humor was,the writing wasn,t as good,but cheers was always funny,but it losted the friendly atmosphere about a neighbourhood bar where everybody knows your name

Diane!! Only because Shelley Long And Ted Danson Play off eachother sooo good! i love them! The rebecca ones were good, but it kinda did seem like they played off the same story line where sam was chasing after rebecca.. ! :happyface

I'm a big Diane and Sam fan, so I hate the fact that she's not in the "Rebecca episodes" so to speak. I do love each era equally though, giving the fact that I'm a big Bebe Neuwirth fan, and she was in the Rebecca eps much more than the Diane eps. So... tough call. :(

I enjoyed the Rebecca years more, simply because I didn't like Diane's character. Uptight and snobbish, she got annoying after awhile. She and Danson played well off each other, but I got my fill of her character. Rebecca was more laid back and loose and became more of the gang. Diane was always an outsider cuz of her personality.

Well it is a tough call. Once Diane left I thought I would hate Cheers (this is when i was watching it on nick at nite), but when rebecca came I maybe liked it better. I really don't know
