"Poe" is Hot in Hollywood, TV Show Pilot Ordered Up

Between Stuart Gordon's play Nevermore and James McTeigue's The Raven and Francis Ford Coppola's Twixt Now and Sunrise, Edgar Allan Poe is becoming a go-to protagonist for Hollywood.
The author is the subject of a new television pilot recently set up at ABC.
The show, entitled "Poe", is described by Deadline as "a crime procedural following Edgar Allan Poe, the world's very first detective, as he uses unconventional methods to investigate dark mysteries in 1840s Boston."
"Kyle XY's" Chris Hollier penned the script.
