For Wearing a Packers Tie in Chicago?!

Okay, this is VERY far-fetched, but this Car Salesman was fired because he's wearing a Green Bay Packers tie at a Chicago Car Dealership for his dead grandma that's a Packers Fan!

What nerve, this guy SHOULD get his job back....

It sounds lto me like this guy has a very solid case for a wrongful dissmissal lawsuit agaist his former employer.

I read about that. He shouldn't have been fired for that. He has the right to support the Packers. Just because he works in Chicago doesn't mean he has to be a Bears fan LOL.

I saw that story. Why not just have the guy change his necktie or ditch it altogether?

The dealership had a current, strong Bears promotion or whatever, so there's more to it than just rivalry or personal fandom -- but as I said, just have the guy not wear it. Firing is insane over something like that.
