The lives of a retired football player (Alex Karras) and his wife (Susan Clark) are suddenly disrupted when a cute orphaned son of a former teammate named Webster (Emmanuel Lewis) moves into their household.

Largely compared to NBC's "Diff'rent Strokes", "Webster" ran for six fun-filled seasons on ABC from 1983-1986.
