Who hated the scripts 1)Like any first season episodes, because they were a little different in season one than the cutesy ones in subsequent seasons,2)Did he like the episode in which he was reunited with the late E.G.Marshall(whom Reed had co-starred in the 1961-1965 CBS ORIGINAL version of "The Defenders"?,which was a father-son lawyer /courtroom show) and not to be confused with "The Defenders"of today.)as Marcia's principal?

Who knows? It seems Robert Reed didn't like much of anything and was a disagreeable human being and after reading and hearing about all the conflict on the set I never understood why he stayed if he was so unhappy with it all.

Lloyd Schwartz mentioned in his recent book "Brady, Brady, Brady" that he thought having E.G. Marshall on the show would be a special treat for Reed, but neither Reed nor Marshall seemed to enjoy their reunion as much as Schwartz thought the men would.
