Impossible to get through an episode.

How could it not be.

I can name ONE positive thing about that show - Gregory Sierra was a guest star in one episode. ;)

The craziest part of all is that it lasted one season longer than The Munsters.

I wish there were a cable channel that was devoted to showing only awful short lived sitcoms like Small Wonder, Harry & The Hendersons, Uncle Buck, Baby Talk (ugh!)

Impossible to get through an episode.

I don't know how it could have been any worse, the cast, the writing, the direction. The creative people in front of camera and behind the scenes didn't seem to like or understand the original series at all.

I've seen some of The Munsters Today before- I don't think it's all that bad. And I LOVE Small Wonder and Harry & The Hendersons- both are great shows. I haven't really seen enough of Uncle Buck and Baby Talk (other than perhaps some clips somewhere) to talk on those- but I'd be interested in seeing them.:)

The Munsters Today (http://muesproductions.com/tag/munsters-today/) (CRAPcoms)

The Musters get trapped in pods only to awake 20 years later "with a brand new show."

I'm glad I never saw it.

I have no interest in sitting through a critique that boils down to 'this is stupid and they're ugly!' as rendered by stupid and ugly critics.

I enjoyed seeing this as a kid. For "Worst Show of All Time" I myself would nominate Small Wonder, lol.

You take that back! :D But seriously Small Wonder was bad in a good way, the idea of a life like girl robot not being noticed by the outside world was just brimming with wacky sitcom plotlines.

The Munsters Today was just bad in an awful way, outdated jokes and the regular outside world just accepted the way they looked, and the Munster clan adapting to the awesome 1980's culture was just crap.

I liked Small Wonder and Harry and the Henderson's. I don't remember watching the New Munsters?

It's barely remembered not even hardcore Munster fans have anything nice to say about it which is a shame I mean it's still part of the Munster series I wish TVLand would air it in it's regular rotation of The Munsters at least to let others view it.

About the only recognizable face from the show would be Jason Marsden who played little Eddie Munster and who guest starred in practically every sitcom from the 90's.

Yup, which is why I give big props to Mama's Family for giving the show a nod. In one episode Iola is trying to think of something relating to something she saw on a TV show and she says one show, and then says "or was that the new Munsters"?

Maybe for your age group, but John Schuck, Lee Meriwether, & Howard Morton all had long and notable careers way before the show ever aired. Jason Marsden was virtually unknown but has racked up an impressive list of credits since then.

Howard Morton

Whoa, that's The Chief's sidekick-subordinate cop on Gimme A Break!---I never realized that was him; of course, I haven't seen this show since I was a kid, lol, but I can hear him saying "Herman!" in his voice now.

My vote for worst show goes to Homeboys In Outer Space.

TV Land hasn't aired The Munsters in 6 years.

Oh yeah I guess I should have specified I grew up as a teenager in the 90's so Jason was a familiar face but of course I knew Lee Meriwether as Catwoman from the '66 Batman movie.

Have the pilot episode from TV station master, I think that the only positive its that they play tribute to its roots, where they have been? and of course for its historical value as now part of a very long list of "lost TV", examples include "The New Gidget", "It's A Living", "Sugar Time", and "Small Wonder" but its about to reach a brand new audience soon through Antenna TV!
