Hello Everybody!
I am a new member to the Sitcoms Online message boards after having been a lurker for nearly a year. I enjoy sitcoms and game shows primarily. I am also into classic TV. Presently I enjoy watching Antenna TV and RTV for television classics.
I have been into this genre of programming since 1986, when the classic TV programming provider of choice was Nick at Nite. I stayed with them until they lost their retro way and watched their successor, TV Land, until they too morphed into another general entertainment station. The same with Game Show Network.
With Digital Television, many exciting opportunities for classic TV providers have been opened up and programming that has not been seen for way too long once again has found an audience.
I look forward to participating often on this site.
On my debut post, I would appreciate some assistance. Around 1989 - 1990, Nick at Nite used to air "The Nick at Nite Movie" at 4AM ET., usually a monochrome classic from the 1930s - 1950s. Many times, these would not fill the entire 4 - 6AM block before Nickelodeon started. Occasionally, the station would drop in some random interstitial fill-in material between 5:30 and 6AM in order, I presume, to get back "on-clock"
I recorded five of the pieces and pieced them together in a 2 minute short. I would appreciate someone being able to identify what TV shows they came from. I know that the shows were not on the Nick at Nite or Nickelodeon schedule from 1989 onward. I am not at all sure about the first three clips which I believe all come from the same show (the same woman appears in all three). The last two, however, I suspect could have been part of a show called "Turkey Television", however, I am not certain of that either.

Thank you so much for providing this sitcom site and discussion forum.
