This is 100% true.Examples of songs that are played on the radio that have missing verses are:1)1962's"Ahab ,the Arab"by Ray Stevens(Sometimes they play it with the missing verse, sometimes not) 2)1967's "To Sir,With Love"by Lulu,(This is true, because I've seen the movie "To Sir,With Love",and the song in the movie has the missing verse),3)1969's "Ain't No Mountain High Enough"by Diana Ross(although it's credited as Diana Ross and the Supremes-there are several missing verses in this one),4)1970's "Stoned Love"by the Supremes without Diana Ross has a missing opening. It goes "Now,I wanna tell you of a great love..it will light up..it will truly light up...if you just believe......Stoned Love...."5)the 1970 Marvin Gaye classic "What's Going On?"(The missing verse is at the very start and goes ..."(sound of people in street-Hey,what's happenin'..."and 6)The Eagles' 1975 hit "Lyin' Eyes" has several lyrics missing from the song played on the radio(Again, sometimes they play the long version, sometimes not-Lyrics missing :"On the other side of town a boy is waiting.."and "She wonders how it ever got so crazy".Know of any OTHER songs that have missing lyrics in the version played on the radio?
