View Full Version : Will Smith Continues to Shove His Kids Down Our Throats! He Wants to Remake 'Annie'
Brian Damage 01-20-2011, 12:04 AM Will and Jada Pinkett-Smith continue on in their plans to slowly take over the world via their children: Will Smith is in talks to remake the musical Annie—with daughter Willow in the lead role. And of course, because Willow is not the typical kid, with typical parents, dad is in talks with "Whip My Hair" collaborator Jay-Z into possibly coming on board. It's still unclear whether the project will incorporate original songs or create new, Jay-Z-ified tracks. This isn't Smith's first time turning his children into mega-money makers: Hey produced The Karate Kid, starring son Jaden, which grossed more than $350 million worldwide.

comedyfreak 01-20-2011, 06:56 AM oh please,
bmasters9 01-20-2011, 07:42 AM Just my opinion, of course, but I was hoping that Will Smith would make a black version of "Ramona and Beezus," with him as Mr. Quimby, Jada Pinkett Smith as Mrs. Quimby, and his daughter Willow as Ramona; I don't know who would be Beezus, Aunt Bea, etc. I think that his son Jaden could be Howie Kemp.
The reason I said that is because I liked the original film, and I was wondering what it would be like if the Quimbys (and for that matter, all the rest of the denizens of Klickitat St.) were black.
sunshinefizzy 01-20-2011, 08:14 AM Yeah, I don't get why people think this family is amazing. There was something about them that rubs me the wrong way.

that sounds pretty interesting.
the only way I would be interested in Will Smith's Anni would be if he were PLAYING Annie.
browneyes106 01-20-2011, 11:52 AM Will's son Jaden is an ok actor but I agree he has been shoving him down people's throats. I like Jada but I can't her stand her TNT show Hawthorne.
LUNCH 01-20-2011, 12:32 PM Okay,I know some people are going to disagree with me,but the fact that will smith(I'm not even talkin' about his kids) is even considered a good actor just further shows how low the bar has sunk as far as what passes for talent these days in America.

They are just over-hyped by the media, just like so much of the current crop of so-called actors.I know they have their fans, but someone like paris hilton has fans too.
