I think there would be viewer outrage as well as erosion if CBS put The Talk opposite The View and move The Price is Right to the afternoon. The long-running game show has occupied the 11 ET, 10 CT time period since the late 70s and has dominated the competition, including The View. The Price is Right did air for a while in the afternoon when CBS debuted The $10,000 Pyramid in 1973 and even though the ratings fell, the game started to evolve. But when the network returned Price to the morning, it became even more successful.
