Sherman had success with Amen While Marla hit it big with 227. Franklin Cover, Roxie Roker and Isabel Sanford all basically did nothing. Why is that do you think???

Probably because Sherman and Marla were the funniest ones on the show although I think Franklin was pretty funny too.

Or...maybe....they just had two good agents who were able to usher them into two new projects right after "The Jeffersons" ended. When the show ended in 1985, Isabel Sanford was 68. I think she got billed as the star of the show and probably walked away with a good chunk of dough and decided to retire comfortably. I once read she had homes in Bel-Air adjacent and Atlanta....sounded like she didn't need the money.
