I am not sure about this. I always thought Chico left the garage and moved back to Mexico??? I read somewhere that they killed off the chico character! Is this true? If yes, what did they say happened to him???

yes, it's true. When Freddie Prinze killed himself, NBC didn't say what happened to Chico; they just stopped showing him. But then, a lot of viewers started asking what happened to the character, so they did a one-hour episode where they said that Chico was killed in a car accident or something.

Actually, they didn't give any reason as to why he passed away (on the show) Ed was going to tell Raoul, but he said he didn't want to know and they never mentioned it again. Was a super sad show to watch! :(

I think they flashed back on him in that ep. It was a sad one...
