The syndicated show "Extra," is "turning into a TV incubator," writes the New York Post.
That refers to its testing of Latina version of "The View," the article says.
"Extra" quietly tested "Chit Chat" as a half-hour special on Christmas day, with plans to repeat the show at 4 a.m. this Sunday, the story says.
Telepictures, which produces "Extra," hasn't started shopping "Chit Chat" yet but that would change if TV stations with large numbers of Hispanic viewers are interested. The show's main hook is that its co-hosts, Ann Lopez and Constance Marie, were both "married" to comedian George Lopez -- Ann Lopez being his real-life ex-wife, with Marie playing Lopez's wife on ABC's "George Lopez," the article notes.
