What does the Marlboro box mean? Was that the brand she "smoked" in that first episode? BTW, Lisa doesn't smoke,
that's why she looks so GORGEOUS after all these years!!

Calm yourself!!! Katie has that up there for another reason which everyone does not know, lol. Cannot you see her name? It says "LisaWhelchelFan" I highly HIGHLY doubt that's her reason for having the Marlboro box up there... Jesus don't get in a tish about it...

Ew... the world does NOT revolve around Nancy... nor does it Lisa, Mindy, Kim, or Charlotte. In your own world it may but in mine, it does not.

To Tad Warner: What the hell?! You don`t see me complaining about your icon, even though you don`t have one. I know Lisa doesn`t smoke, and God only knows what kind of cigarette she smoked on the pilot episode. The reason I have the Marlboro box up is because I smoke, I`m not really addicted. My parents would kill me if they knew I did. Anywayz, you should keep your comments to urself!

I know, I shouldn't sound like I'm judging, I used to smoke. Hope people
don't start thinking I'm a hypocritical meanie. As the 16th
president of the U.S.A. said, show me a man with no vices, and I'll show you a man with no virtues.
BTW, If Lisa were a president, she'd be BABE-RAHAM LINCOLN!!
My apologies, LWFan.

Thats aight. I thought you were doing that to criticize me. Just a big misunderstanding. Oh well. BTW, how old are you, and when did u quit smoking, and how long did it take? I just got done watching Girl, Interrupted and there`s alot of people smoking on there, I`m like "omg omg, I need a cigarette." But sadly my parents are still awake, so I can`t light up till they go to bed....Don`t get me wrong, I`m not an addict, just need my nicotine.

What would you do if your mom or dad decided to look up their favorite shows on Sitcoms Online Then came by here & discovered you smoke?
smoking is bad it killed my mother. She got cancer.
She passed away. Plus for your own good quit now.

How can you NEED nicotine and not be addicted? If you need it then you are addicted to cigarettes.

To LWFan,
Hope I don't sound too old for everybody, I'm 39, have been the World's Biggest Lisa Whelchel Disciple since I was 21, and about smoking, I first got into it when I was 20, in 1983 when people were handing out free samples of smokes in downtown Seattle.
Got into that until the spring of '84 when I just got sick of it and said, no more. Until the summer of '85 when I happened to find an unopened box of Benson & Hedges and started my habit anew. Got into that again until December '85, then got sick of it again. So I stopped... until the spring of '93 when friends at work
got me interested in Camels and Marlboros, and then for the next several years, I was a total addict. My mother, who doesn't smoke and is totally against it, got on my case about it...but I didn't listen...until finally in the fall of '95 or so, I just gave it up entirely, too expensive, and it just didn't have that thrill anymore.
Several months later, I joined a fitness club. I don't want to judge anyone because I know how hard it is to quit. I haven't had the desire to smoke since. I thought I'd never quit.

I started in the summer. My friend Holly, who is 16 invited me to her birthday/sleepover party. There was the usual group of friends that I usually hang around with(my mom DOES NOT approve of me hanging around 10th graders, even thought they are only a yr or 2 older than me!!!!!!!). Holly`s mom lets her smoke, because she`s already 16, and why wait 2 more yrs? So we all went upstairs in her dining room, and all of them took out cigarettes and lit one up. They asked me if I wanted one, and I said "Yeah, I never tried it before, so ya`ll will have to teach me how to inhale." So they gave me "lessons." By the end of the night i was an expert at it. When I inhaled, I didn`t cough or anything. I thought it was the neatest thing. Here`s what my mom said when I got home from the sleepover: "Katie, ur not allowed to be around Holly or any of her friends. You smell like a big fat cigarette. They`ll be getting you to smoke! Just stay away from them, they are TROUBLE!!!" She asked me if I was smoking, I`m like "Who me?!?! You know how I hate the smell.". She believed me. :) I haven`t said a word to Holldoll since.
