With all of the promotion it's been getting over the past month, I'm surprised Country Strong did so poorly. However, I really can't stand Gwyneth Paltrow, so I'm also kind of glad about it.

I want to see Country Strong. The plot sounds good and I like the theme song.

I have a strong feeling that "True Grit" is going to win an Oscar for something....

i like gwyneth but i have never been able to stand her singing so i am avoiding this movie at all costs

Since I'm a really big fan of the original True Grit, I'm not sure I want to see the remake of it... Even though the remake is getting good reviews, I think I've seen one dud too many at the cinema in recent years, and I'm getting bored of going there (unless an epic movie demands I do)... If I don't see it at the cinema, I'll likely see it on DVD...
