I have never heard of the Midnight Special before. Might you be willing to elaborate on what it was? Also, was his time on the Love Boat during or after his time on Happy Days? Just in case anyone is wondering why I did not list before as an option, it is because Happy Days has been around longer than Love Boat and Anson was in it since day one.

On the Love Boat Anson plays an old friend of Julie's brother that Julie has always had a crush on. She flirts with him and tries to let him know she's interested in him not realizing he is now a priest. This episode aired in the first season of Love Boat (77-78) so obviously Anson was still on Happy Days at the time.

"THE MIDNIGHT SPECIAL" was an hour long music show that was on in the 70s on NBC that was on friday night/early saturday at 1 am, right after "THE TONIGHT SHOW" (which was 90 minutes back then)
