Even though I am taking a break from posting, this question was planned in 2010 and I forgot....lol.....For those who bought the "Warner Exclusive Christmas Classics Collection".....I already have over 100 Alice episodes from chopped ION, but the print used in the DVD was the same, even though it clocked in at about 25 minutes....but ION used sped-up/time compressed versions....sometimes the theme song, Linda Lavin sounded like she was on helium....now on both versions...ION & Warner, you do see the opening producer credits as the ladies talk during the first scene, which would make one think it isn't edited, BUT....here comes my "Alice" geekdom....Alice says to Flo, "That is what I was trying to tell you" about her taking Tommy to her relatives...seems like an odd way to start a storyline....also during the closing montage, as they always showed pictures from the episode...the first one shown is a picture of Alice kissing a regular customer old bearded man under the mistletoe....which is not shown in either version, all the other pictures shown are from the episode .....my opinion is that about 30 seconds or more was cut. Or was this the way the show was originally broadcast leaving that kissing scene and Alice saying "That is what I was trying to tell you" without us ever seeing and/or was it left on the cutting room floor?
