Happy new year everyone!

I was visiting Dani's wallpaper site, great site Dani, and saw her tribute photo to the stars we lost in 2010. I saw a few people along with Rue McClanahan who had been on the golden girls at one time or another. I thought we could do the same thing with Chico and the man. I think it's actually called 6 degrees of seperation.

Freddie and Rich little were on CATM and they worked together on the Bob hope special.....not the canadian one, the one with all the stars and the mysterious disapearances.

Esai morales played freddie jr's father on his show freddie. esai morales also played in the movie "my family" which also starred constance marie who played george lopez's wife on his show. also in the movie "my family" was Jenny Gago who played the grandmother on freddie Jr's show freddie. Jr being the son of freddie sr seals the deal.

Jack Albertson was in Mirical on 34th street, which starred natalie wood. And ofcourse Jack and freddie on chico and the man.
This connection was short.

Desi Arnaz and freddie sr connection.
There were two characters on chico that guest starred on I Love Lucy. One of the guys was the one who had 9 girls in the episode that lucy gave birth. The other guy was in a couple of lucy episodes, one being the fortune teller. Both of these guys were in the same chico episode. I dont know there names. When watching the episode i expected desi to walk in, but he never did.

It would of been cool if they had desi arnaz play chico's father, instead of Ceasar Romero.

Rochforw one of the actors you're talking about was Charles Lane. (The guy with the 9 girls on I Love Lucy) He passed away a couple years ago at the age 102. He was in sooooooooo many TV shows and movies! Whew!

Personally, I LOVED Cesar Romero as "Chico's" Dad. He and Freddie looked so similiar! omg: I thought he was perfect! ;)

One lady who did a couple episodes of Chico was Alma Beltran. (She made the rounds on shows ;) Most famously as Julio's mom on Sanford And Son)
Alma Beltran also made an appearance on The Jeffersons which starred Marla Gibbs among others! ;)
Marla Gibbs had her show 227 and playing her daughter, Brenda, was Regina King.
Regina went on to star with Sandra Bullock in the Miss Congeniality movie! :)

Charles Lane was also Homer Bedloe on Petticoat Junction and Green Acres. The guy from the train co who hated the Cannonball trins and kept trying to stop it...

Jay Novello is the name of the other guy from i love lucy, who appeared along side charles Lane on chico and the man.

Isabel Sanford was Louise on The Jefferson's along with Jenny,played by Berlinda Tolbert.
Berlinda Tolbert was in the movie Harlem Nights, as was Della Reese.
Della was, of course, the landlady on Chico And The Man! :D

Shelly was in A Patch of Blue, with sidney.
shelly guessed starred on chico, and was in poseidon adventure with jack albertson.

Farrah Fawcett was the breakout star of Charlie's Angels (even though she was only on one season) but one of the most famous guest stars of that show was Sammy Davis Jr who also guest starred on Chico and The Man! :clap:

Danisel331 you are thinking too much. Ceasar Romero was in the movie "the little princess" with shirley Temple. Thats all you had to say. But atleast you said Ceasar Romero, i would of been mad at you if you didnt.

And Jeanie Lenro who played Liz on chico, was in the Godfather with Al Pacino. She was the one who has an affair with Sonny, and would eventually be the mother of Andy Garcia's Vincent character in Godfather 3.

Freddie and Dorothy Dandrige

Dorothy was in the movie " Porgy and Bess" which also starred Sammy Davis Jr. and as you said earlier, Sammy guessed starred on chico.

The easiest way (I can think of) would be to use The Beverly Hillbillies Miss Jane, Nancy Culp who made appearances on Sanford and Son as Mrs Hopkins. Then you have Della (Della Reese) and Louie (Scatman Crothers) both making appearances on Sanford and Son along with being regulars on Chico and The Man. :) (not to mention the fact that both Chico and Sanford were actually filmed on the same soundstage! :))

I agree that Ceaser Romero looked better. Desi on the other hand, would've been hilarious. I could see him being funny...

Now I know I couldn't have scared off rochforw with a Greta Garbo connection. Couldn't be! BUT since there's been no answer < and no one else seems to want to try :( > here's my connection between Freddie and Greta Garbo!

On Chico there was lady named Carmel Myers. She played a former silent movie actress that Ed had idolized way back when, but this lady actually was an actress during the silent movie era. She co-starred with none other than Rudolph Valentino in 1918 in a movie called All Night. :)
