Like the Beatles cartoons series from the 1960's i wonder how a rollingstone animated series would had looked like as well as other british invasion groups

After The Beatles proved to be a smash hit on Saturday mornings, there
was talk about a series built around Herman's Hermits and one for Freddie and
the Dreamers. But nothing ever came of it. There were also plans for some
prime-time animated specials starring The Beatles, but that never happened,
either. (BTW, the real Beatles liked Peter Sander's caricatures but hated the
voices provided by Paul Frees and Lance Percival.)

I heard Lennon was a high critic about The Voices done in that cartoon.

The Rolling Stones TV Show would be on Prime Time and could shock many people...more than The Smothers Brothers. But Wouldn't it be nice to see a Beach Boys Animated Show? I think it would, and it would probably have cartoons about surfing, solving mysteries, and aliens. Then they'd have a song by The Beach Boys like Heroes and Villans.

..."Rolling Stones" series would have been like- if American network executives had their way....say, Fred Silverman of CBS, if he had scheduled a Saturday morning cartoon "inspired" by the real-life group for his schedule in 1966....

1) Mick and Keith would have been guardians of a pre-teen boy and girl {"Penny" and "Keith"}, who tag along on all of their tours and "misadventures", often getting them into or out of trouble;

2) A "mascot" {say, a penguin named "Fred"} who talks with a Brooklyn accent and loathes rock and roll {"Don't ya' ever play anything by Cole Porter?"}.

3) A villainous character [somewhat bumbling, so as not to frighten the kids watching] who's the Stones' main adversary {"Ooooh, I HATE those Rolling Boulders!!!"/MICK: "STONES."/"I don't care what you are, so long as I have my way!!!!!"}.

There'd be at least two songs in every episode, one in each 10 minute story, as well as a "bonus" musical number either in the middle or the end of the show....and possibly the group appearing in "live-action" bumpers, making pithy comments about the stories, the show, or anything in particular...

It would probably have been produced at Format Films (the same people behind "THE ALVIN SHOW" and the Road Runner theatrical cartoons of the mid-'60s), and lasted about 26 episodes.

mick and keth can be very cartoonish alot of time so this idea probaly would have worked very well
