As far as I know, no. I do think she helped Max raise her niece when Julie took off (when Mackenzie Phillips was fired from ODAAT for the second time).

They did a two part attempted adoption episode which ended in failed sadness and Barbara trying to rationalize and lie to herself about all they could do without kids but also with Mark saying “‘and then we’re going to try again”
