Looks like another retransmission dispute is upon us. This time between Viacom and Suddenlink. The current deal expires Friday.

I never heard of Suddenlink, but they should just drop Viacom. The whole situation of these big companies(not only Viacom) extorting money(and it's ALOT of money) has gotten waaaaaay out of hand.It does not take a rocket scientist to know that companies like Viacom,Fox,the list can go on would NOT charge anything if cable companies refused to pay them. And as most know already,it's really the people that have cable/sat that wind up paying more and more-- for less and less.

How do I sign up for Suddenlink? Is it available here in Ohio?

^^^^Not surprising. What is surprising is WHY cable and satellite companies continue to pay them and play the same stupid game with their customers.Kinda like what I mentioned in my other post ,without cable companies carrying their channels there would be no Viacom channels period, or for that matter ESPN,FOX channels, the list can go on and on.I'm not siding with cable companies either but the whole thing is a scam.
