Fish tries to stop a suicide jumper who's demanding peace in the Middle East and Yemana makes a resolution that he's no longer going to make the office coffee and subject himself to his co-workers' complaints about his inferior java. Barney's wife brings a festive air to the 12th precinct with a goody basket and some party hats, but it's a pregnant shoplifter who really livens up the last evening of 1975, as Wojo delivers her baby in Barney's office.

I've always liked it. Very funny, but at the same time a touch melancholy. Very touching. :)

I remember it being warm and funny. It probably represents some of the stuff that goes on on a police station.
A good episode to play this weekend!!

Totally!!! A bunch of great quotes from the sad "You win some, you lose some" (Fish) to funny - "What do you mean, third???" (Harris). I've always loved that ep. :D

It was especially funny when Chano is acting more like an expectant father than a police officer helping out

They ALL seemed like expectant fathers - especially when Fish walks in and Barney spots him. "Fish! Fish, we had a boy!" :D

True  But Chano, who was the only one who could speak Spanish to the lady, was the one who acted more nervous especially when Barney says "We're going to have a baby." after telling the doctor just how close the contractions were (2 minutes apart) just before the baby is born he calls to Barney's wife, Liz, first a Spanish word (hurry?) "The baby will be hear any minute." and before closing the door he says "It's going to be fine. It's going to be fine."

Yes, he was very gentle and sweet with the expectant mother and the first to break the news of the baby's arrival to Barney, Harris and Yemana. :D
