For longtime Bewitched fans I am sure he is remembered, but for casual fans, I am pretty sure he isn't even known to exist. Why has Samantha's son Adam not remembered as much as Tabitha was?

Probably because Adam was born in the Dick Sargent era, and most people had begun to tune out.

His character wasn't fully developed or as developed as Tabitha, IMHO.

Adam is the cousin Oliver of Bewitched! (even though he preceded the real cousin Oliver by several years!)

I agree with the other posters. It's almost as if poor Adam never happened!

I think the only reason they added him was because of Liz's real-life pregnancy. Otherwise, I think they had plenty of plots with just Tabitha. Again, your mileage may vary!!

Well, even in the last season, Adam was still too young to take direction or do much more than be a "baby brother" prop.

Do either of the twins who played him even have clear memories of doing it??

According to the book Bewitched Forever, David and Greg Lawrence would argue over who would do which scene - and both enjoyed "flying" in the episode "Adam, Warlock or Washout". Both had fevers/ear infections during the filming of that episodes, but were troopers and had fun with the "flying". (Their mother, on the other hand, was not quite as enthusiastic.)
