In the past few seasons 30 Rock has been knocking on the door of the absurd that is reserved for Family Guy. It is dangerously close to becoming a show filled with humorous vignettes strung together with a very weak plot. 30 Rock is at its best when there is a clear story line and the jokes all compliment that story line.
