My name is Jan and I am a moderator in the Yahoo Gomer Pyle USMC Fan Group: http://tv.groups.yahoo.com/group/Gomer_Pyle_USMC_Fans/
There's only about 25 of us, and to be honest, only a few really participate That's why I was so thrilled to find this Gomer forum. First of all I'd like to invite anyone here to join our little group. We sure could use some new blood and new life!
From now on, even though I will always keep posting to my group, I will be also posting in here, but one of the benefits of our group is that we do have a web site, which is kind of our "operations center" and a central place to upload photos. I do most of that myself, along with constantly keeping an eye out on the web for new information or history about the show and passing it along to everyone.
However I know a lot of people will say, "I'll just stay here on the forum", and that's fine, but I did want to extend the offer. Also I wanted to let everyone know about my YouTube Channel where, so far, I've uploaded about 26 edited episodes of Gomer:
